Ruffin Craig works with his clients and their advisors to help identify and achieve their estate planning goals by considering the interplay between income, gift, estate and inheritance taxes (including generation-skipping transfer tax), as well as asset protection issues. The vehicles commonly used as part of his estate planning practice include:

  • Wills

  • Revocable and irrevocable trusts

  • Durable powers of attorney for financial affairs and health care

  • Living wills

  • Asset protection trusts

  • Premarital agreements

  • Insurance planning

  • Charitable remainder trusts

  • Lifetime gifting arrangements

After a death, Ruffin also can assist in estate and trust administration and planning.
